Working conditions
Full-time permanent position
Salary range: $51,000 to $60,000 per year, based on a 35-hour workweek
Desired start date: Spring 2026
Hybrid work arrangement: remote work and the Mile-End office

Job Summary
Reporting to the Executive Director, the Business Development Support Specialist provides operational and organizational support to facilitate the work of the business development team and maximize efficiency in handling business opportunities. In this central role, the specialist helps prepare service proposals, manages sales documentation and the CRM system, tracks performance metrics, and coordinates and follows up on internal and external meetings. Their contributions ensure efficient processes and smooth communication among stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Optimization of Sales Operations
Organize, structure, and keep up to date the documentation and tools related to business development (templates, presentations, one-pagers, summary sheets, upselling tools, etc.)
Structure and centralize service offerings and templates to improve the efficiency of service proposal creation
Update and maintain customer databases and the CRM system, ensuring that the information is accurate and consistent
Compile, track, and update key performance indicators (KPIs) related to sales and business development
Prepare tracking spreadsheets and summary reports for the team and management
Contribute to the continuous improvement of administrative and operational processes related to sales
Sales Team Support
Draft, format, and coordinate the preparation of service proposals and responses to requests for proposals.
Coordinate timelines, follow-ups, and statuses for service proposals and business opportunities.
Ensure coordination between the business development team, project teams, and finance to ensure compliance with opportunity lifecycle processes.
Prepare and coordinate sales team/DDA meetings (agenda, materials, logistics).
Prepare meeting minutes and follow up on identified actions.
Provide general administrative support to the team to ensure smooth and efficient sales operations.
Market Intelligence
Support the identification of business opportunities and the organization’s strategic positioning in its market
Monitor calls for proposals, grant programs, and other opportunities relevant to the organization
Support the planning, coordination, and logistics of events or sales activities
Help disseminate strategic information within the sales team to support the identification of opportunities and upselling initiatives
Required qualifications
Diploma of College Studies (DEC) or Diploma of Vocational Studies (DEP) in administration, office administration, management, or a related field.
Any training in a relevant field will be considered.
At least 3 years of experience in an administrative, coordination, or sales support role within a company.
Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Proficiency with collaborative tools (e.g., Teams, SharePoint, CRM).
Excellent writing skills in French; working knowledge of English is a plus, depending on the context
