The Fonds de solidarité FTQ becomes Habitat partner

Habitat changes scale! The entire team is delighted to announce that the Fonds FTQ has become a partner and is investing $3.5 million in our organization. This investment will enable Habitat to continue to grow and become one of Quebec's leading biodiversity specialists.

We would particularly like to thank our existing partners, without whom this investment would not have been possible. It is their ambitious and innovative projects that have enabled Habitat to multiply its impact and contribute to a greener, healthier future for our ecosystems and for Quebec.

"The Fund's investment will enable Habitat to ensure its growth and continue to rank among Quebec's leading biodiversity specialists. I'm proud that an investor like the Fund, which is committed to sustainable development and is implementing initiatives in this direction, is joining Habitat as a partner," explains Jérôme Dupras, founding partner and CEO of Habitat. "Our aim is to contribute to a greener, healthier future for our ecosystems and for Quebec. We believe the Fund is the ideal partner to help us achieve these goals," concludes Mr. Dupras.

"The addition of Habitat to the Fund's portfolio is yet another demonstration of our determination to take concrete action for Quebec's sustainable development. We are proud today to highlight this first investment directly related to biodiversity," says Christian G. Brosseau, Vice-President, Private Equity and Impact Investments - Structuring Capital, Energy, Environment and Technology at the Fonds de solidarité FTQ. "The Fund is already mobilized to support Habitat in its development to reach new markets," concludes Mr. Brosseau.
